Constituents

Shilajit contains organic minerals , carbon 60 (C60) , plant-based antioxidants and many other organic acids and minerals that act as molecule carriers. It also contains dibenzo-alpha-pyrones associated with triterpenes and phenolic lipids among others. Not forgetting vitamins and dozens of minerals in ionic form . All these properties therefore allow Shilajit to be considered a superfood.

Shilajit is one of the most potent sources of fulvic and humic acids naturally harvested ready for human consumption. Learn more about these acids.

Only Shilajit has the perfect combination of natural constituents that will be immediately accepted and absorbed by your body , making Shilajit probably the best dietary supplement in the world.

Here is a (non- exhaustive ) list of the components of Shilajit:

IRON: a trace element whose frequent deficiency (it affects 25% of premenopausal women according to Health Insurance) causes fatigue, shortness of breath, paleness and headaches. Taking shilajit is an ally in fighting anemia.

MAGNESIUM: Particularly important in the workings of our body since it participates in more than 300 reactions in the body: the fixation of calcium in bones, the contraction of muscles, the regulation of blood sugar levels helping us to prevent diabetes from type 2, and heart rate, as well as the proper functioning of intestinal transit.

MANGANESE: Manganese is a trace mineral that is intimately involved in how enzymes interact in the body. Other roles of manganese include energy metabolism, thyroid hormone potency, blood sugar regulation, brain performance, and free radical control.

CALCIUM: Calcium is necessary for bones, teeth and nails. It is therefore the “trace element” that makes up the largest percentage of your body weight. It is also used by muscles, blood vessels, nerve cells and glands to make enzymes and hormones.

POTASSIUM: It is considered one of the primary electrolytes. Potassium is used to maintain fluid balance, kidney function, proper nerve function, muscle contraction (including our heart rate), as well as to encourage the transport of compounds into and out of cells. This trace mineral is very important for retaining calcium in bones and for converting blood sugar into glycogen, which is the form in which we store and use it. http://butane.chem.uiuc.edu/pshapley/Environmental/L26/1.html https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5610682/

SELENIUM: a trace element with immunostimulating properties and powerful antioxidant action. Selenium is required by our bodies for reproduction, DNA production, thyroid function, bone wellness, and reduction of free radical activity.

HUMIC ACID: Humic acid also binds to many vitamins and minerals, ensuring that they are transported more quickly through the blood to the cells.

FULVIC ACID: Fulvic acid is a powerful antioxidant.

More than 80 other natural constituents: Benzoic acid, iron, copper, zinc, manganese, magnesium, nickel, potassium, silicon, silver, sodium, barium, sulfur, iodine, strontium, rubidium, cesium, chromium, antimony, vanadium, molybdenum, phosphorus, glycosides, carotenoids retinol, Terpenoids, vitamin A, B, (including B2 and B12), vitamin C, D and E, melanoidin, polyphenols, dibenzo-alpha pyrones, triterpenesphospholipids and phenolic acids, albuminoids, hippuric and oxalic acid, tannic acid and bioflavonoids.

Origin Himalaya mountain range

On the peaks of the Himalayas, at an altitude of more than 2000 metres, it is not uncommon to see, in the hot season, the great white apes of this region chewing a black substance, a sort of tar which oozes from the rocks under the effect of heat.

Here, it is claimed that this substance gives white monkeys longevity and strength.
